Anyone know why long titles are cut off? It seems like there is plenty of room on the Nav screen. Is this because XM has a limit on the number of characters it can send for a title?

Yeah, I kinda figured. It doesn't make sense. Why not make sure that they can send enough characters to display the entire song title?

Don't know but they might include it in 2005 TL. That is what car company's do. They add extra stuff to get you angry.

XM should also show the group and title of the song longer then just a quick flash at the begining.

I don't know about you, but my XM stays on the Nav the entire time the song is playing and the top display in whatever mode I set the entire time also...

Oh mayve you do not have NAV...l should have got nav!

XM song and artist names seem to be limited to 16 characters... Enough for most but not all names and titles...

There was a thread on this fairly recently and someone posted about how the next generation of XM would include longer titles and more album information. Not sure if/how the TLs radio would be able to handle the new data though
