Anyone have this? New TL comes with three free months of XM. Anyone have any experience with it?

I've had XM Radio for over a year and had added equipment to my '02 TL to add that functionality. The sound is digital quality with the right equipment (I didn't have it--used FM modulation, which sounded pretty good anyway). I have traveled from Colorado to southern Ontario with no blips in coverage. The only problem spots are in cities in which XM has not installed repeaters. For example, Buffalo, NY had no repeaters the last time I visited about a year ago, and there was signal loss every time I drove on the north side of a tall building. At home in Cleveland, there are plenty of repeaters so I have no loss of coverage even downtown.

I think it's the best $10 I spend each month. I've completely stopped listening to local radio except for my NPR affiliate, which I support financially.

There are a few other TLers with XM Radio and I'm sure they'll chime in when they see this thread.

I've had XM since December of '02 and it has become indispensable. Easiest $10 I spend each month...

Agreed about XM. People b*tch & moan about 'subscribing to radio', but when it comes down to it... you get what you pay for. I have been a subscriber for over a year now, have 2 radios, will have three with I get my TL. I'm a huge music lover, and a huge advocate of XM Radio.

Many Stations are commercial free. Those with commercials, there is a max of 6 minutes per hour of music.

Music is Un-Edited on many stations. Look for the guys that end with xL.
