I've seen many Acura's with the Honda emblem replacing the A as well.

And they change the TL to "Inspyre"

Yes I know in Japan its called the Inspyre (i think), but why change it?

USDM wants to be JDM
JDM wants to be US

The 2G TL is sold as the Saber/Inspire in Japan and sold as a Honda, not an Acura. People just want what they can't have and try to be unique so their car looks like it's Japanese counterpart.

Isn't there a Canadian Acura that's actually a USDM civic? Not saying this is it, but just curious.

I remember seeing alot of people with integra's flipping the A upsive down so it looked like a V

back when i was in high school, getting an Acura symbol and placing it upside down like a V was the thing to do on your civic

Yeah it was the Acura 1.7 EL first and now they changed the name to the CSX.. and step down from the TSX in the USDM. But from my understanding it only comes in a 4 door version not the 2 door civic posted up here. And it actually comes in a TYPE S.. haha... this is why Acura doesn't get the respect that Lexus and other luxury car makers get.. cuz they do this type of nonsense where they just rebadge their honda lineup.

1) You shouldn't diss a Civic (or CSX). Still good cars.
2) You shouldn't try to pass one off as an Acura.

CSX = EU Hybrid, JDM Civic. Its a nice car, or so it used to be before it adapted the stupid new Acura shield grille. But in Vancouver most of the CSXs (previous gen which had a normal grille) I've seen has changed all their emblems back to Honda and Civic. As for the new shields, they just sit at the dealerships...
