Totally different market segments.
A lot of cars are a better choice for sportiness, for less than $45k: RX8, G35/Z, 330i, Evo, Sti, S2000, Z4, etc.
The TL is a good sized, somewhat heavy sedan. It is a wonderful car, a great value, and quite sporty in its own right, but there is little point in comparing it to an M3.

ehh is right.
The front looks like the car has a huge overbite!
Or kinda like those geeky braces that kids had to wear. Not braces but that big bar.
Yeah, the front looks even more retarded!

Its like my car on steroids, and as we all know steroids make you look uglier in a sort of distorted way...so there ya' have it!
Other than the 300 hp (and I have to assume AWD would come with that ), I'll pass.
BTW Yes, I agree that the 21" wheels look ridiculous.

I like everything but the taillights (look like something you would find on a Mustang), the 21" wheels (wouldn't last a day what with Chicago potholes), and the panoramic glass roof (can you imagine the rattles?). I especially liked the seats and the rearview camera.
I can't imagine what this thing would end up costing.
As for those of you griping the 300 hp is too much for FWD just remember Cadillac has had it for years, and yes I know they are replacing their FWD with RWD but that's their mistake. I wouldn’t mind seeing an AWD version of TL appear one day although the TL is heavy enough as it is.

Three Wheelin'
TheCarConnection.com is calling this concept a "Type S in disguise". They may know something we don't but if Acura history takes its usual course we might expect to see either the car in its entirety or a good portion of it as a "Type S" in about a year -18mos. Besides, if they told us a "Type S" would be offered, alot of us would have delayed purchasing an early 04. If they produce it, I hope its by June, when my 2k lease expires!
