Is it just me or are there more women behind the wheel of the TL than men. I commute out to Santa Monica from Pasadena everyday and it seems like every time I see a TL on the 10 freeway, it is always a woman behind the wheel. I will probably see 9 or 10 TL's on a daily basis and more likely than not, a woman is behind the wheel. Not that there's anything wrong with women driving the TL, but I was just wondering if I was the only one noticing this. Also, would some view the TL as a "chick" car like some view the Beetle?

 

Interesting observation. I see only about 5 or 6 TLs a week around here, and have yet to see a woman driving them. Usually guys in their 30s and 40s.

yup same here..i see alot of TL around here too maybe one down on almost every single road when i drive..but its a variety of people driving..but they seem to be really older than me like in thier 30-40's..but its koo it's just a great car to drive that's why

I'm in LA and se about 10-11 TL's a day and I only have an 8 minute commute to work on the 10fwy ... but the drivers' gender varies when I see them

 

I rarely see a TL during my daily communtes between downtown Los Angeles and the O.C.. Mostly Accords and Camrys. But, when I do see TL's (3rd gen) it seems to be about 50/50 men/women driving.

My niece has a 2nd Gen TLS. She bought it for the same reason most of us did - great value & reliablility for the price.

 

i drive about 1 hr each day on the 210 fwy...most of the time i see male TL drivers. lucky u. :p

 

I commute from the Valley (405/101 exchange) to just over the line in Ventura County for work every day..... If you're not familiar with this area, be grateful!! For those of you who are.... You can feel my pain, can't ya!?!?

There was one day last week, that I saw EVERY color the TL comes in (not including mine) . I saw Anthracite, Silver, Black, Blue, Red, White and the very elusive Gold and Green!!!! The first 5 colors I saw in the morning on the way to work... The last 2 on the way home.

At one point, I was in a row of TLs that stretched across 4 lanes of the 101 (2 Anthracite, 1 silver and 1 black).... I kinda felt like I could of been in an Acura commercial!!!

I know a few women that have 3G TLs (and even more that want them!! ), but I've noticed mostly guys (late 20's- early 40's) driving them.

Same here! I drive around pretty much all over Los Angeles and usually see 30+ year old women most of which are on the right side of the freeway driving TL's. Good observation.

Just got back from San Diego and saw 3 (3rd Gen) TL's on the 15 when I went down. Then saw 5-10 while I was there. Even parked next to a Black/Ebony at PF Changs and then saw 1 coming back up the 15. All women except for 1 Silver and the unknown parked car. However, it looked like it hadn't been washed in a month so I assume it was a lady driver.

 

During my daily journey from Santa Monica to the Valley (via Topanga Canyon) I see a slew of TL's. I have noticed an increasing number of gals driving.
I do love a women with great taste.

 

Here in Houston I see them all the time, but usually they're parked. I rarely see them driving... weird.

There are 3 or 4 others in my parking garage at work. And there's another white one around the corner from me. I've yet to see any of those driving though... always parked.

I did notice today at work 2 350z's parking at the same time as me. All 3 of us parked in non-door-ding spots at the end of the rows. I was thinking, "I'm not the only anal car person here!"
Then out of both 350's, women got out. No men. I guess the 350z is a chick car now.

 

Commute between 405N/S and 22E/W everyday to and from work, I see at least 6 TLs or more; however, most are guys at late 30s; one or two are late 30s years old women. Haven't see any younger gals driving TL yet.

 

I've seen at least 50/50 here in the Chicago Burbs. My infiniti sales person that I was working with prior to buying the TL from an Acura Dealer said "why would you want that car, its more of women car", ever since than I was sort of turned off by the TL but month later I ended up buying one, and I am happy.
