Wiper blades compatibility
I like how well OEM wipers do their job, but I don't like they look. I know the new hondas/acuras have the better looking beam style wiper blades. Anyone know if the wipers from any one of those cars will fit? I assume it just has to be the right length?

That's a good idea.
I agree on the OEM ones also.
Because of the look I don't use them but who cares about mom's MDX lol so dad got them replaed at the dealer.
And god they do clean the windshield nicee
New TL still uses that kind of wipers right? Not good looking ones. Whyyyyyyy
At least do it like Accord's

A bit of a update. The 8th gen accord wipers did not work because they have a bracket on the wiper that cannot close over the tl wiper arms. Guess I'll have to try another car...

Just put a new pair of RainX wipers on and they work fantastic. The mounting point leaves a little to be desired, but the function is top notch so far.
The mount leaves a hole exposed that just doesn't look right. The OEM has a plug that fills that hole and it doesn't fit on the RainX ones.

I'm not sure exactly which ones you're mentioning but the Bosch Icons look really nice. I like the framless wipers. Performance is great. I have to replace them yearly but that's going to be true of nearly any rubber wiper in my climate. They're silent as well.

The length is not overly critical. For example - I hated the looks of the monster-sized oem blades. I have been using 20" Driver & 16" Passenger blades for many years. It has less coverage, but it poses no issues to me. I like the appearance of the shorter blades.

The 2013 accords have same 19/26 size as 3rd gen TL, and since its a new car the design seems to be pretty cool, much different as the mounting point seems like its not centered on the blade. I'll try to see if I can find a set in person and try them out

I just use the cheap Goodyear wipers that were $10 for a pair at Costco, but if I were to get expensive blades I'd get the Trico Onyx, but $47 for both blades is a little pricey for wiper blades imho. I know the Goodyear blades aren't the prettiest, but for $10 they'll last me a full year. So, the Trico blades would have to last over 4 years.
I've tried pretty much every beam blade out there minus the Trico Onyx: Bosch Icon, Michelin, Rain X and now the Goodyear's. The Bosch were definitely the best, but barely lasted over a year. The Michelin's were absolute garbage I didn't even leave them on for 6 months. The Rain X weren't bad but they made an incredibly annoying squeaking sound. Overall, for the price I really couldn't be happier with the Goodyear blades, other than the looks. I did however spray them down liberally with silicone spray as soon as I got them hoping that would help keep the rubber in good shape, and so far so good.

My TL has never seen a day of snow in it's life. Gotta love FL cars, but it has had some frost on the windows after moving to SC.
I remember changing the front rotors (you know those gay ass ones) on my 90 Accord that spent it's entire life in WI. Well it was so rusty I ended up welding a socket to the caliper bolt.
