Winter Mats

Hello All,

Other than the dealer, is there any place I can buy winter mats for an 05 TL?

Thanks

They must have just listed the 2005TL mats, so here's the link http://www.handa-accessories.com/tl.html

I think the 2005 mats are available in tan, so be sure and ask them if you want that color.

As gathered from this forum, thanks to Conan, I bought my OEMs from Joe at the Curry Acura Parts Dept for $93 shipped to CA. Damn good compared to $130 at the dealer.

Jow can be reached at 866 799-0087.

Thumbs up Weathertech Mats

to the weather tech mats... have them in my '04 and they work just fine.. I had them in the 2002 Odyssey also. Three colours available... tan, black and grey, which should cover just about all the interior colours Acura has in the TL.

go with the factory mats, they fit perfectly. you won't be dissapointed. you can do a search on ebay. I got eh all weather mats and the trunk tray for $175. probably the best investment. The mats are easy to clean, my carpet mats still look brand new and the trunk tray saved me from having car wash soap all over my trunk ( there was a small hole in the container when I bought it and it leaked all over the tray!)

I hated the OEM mats. There is no sidewall so water/snow rolls off onto the carpet. Pretty useless IMO.

I agree with weathertech.

Sams Club has a 4 piece set in black or tan for $20. I don't know how well they will fit, but they look like they would hold a gallon of water without leaking. The best I've seen if holding your water is a problem.

The weathertech mats for an 05 tl dont fit at all on the drivers side. I had to return mine because the drivers side doesnt fit right. It's to short between the gas door opener and dead pedal and it is way to big at the throttle, like it was designed to go under the pedal which is impossible. And you cant trim the area by the throttle or you wont have the high ridge left to keep water in. I have used weathertech for years in all my vehicles and this was the first time I have ever had to send back a set. I called them and told them to look up the design on the 05 to see that they are not even close to what they have made. This was in May of 05, if anyone has gotten them since can you let me know if they have fixed the drivers side mat to fit properly as I really prefer to use weathertech.

Zeppee and others,
As of August 2005, the mat fitting issue must have been resolved because ours fit fine. (05 TL purchased in late summer w/ mats purchased that same time) maybe it was just a fluke with yours? most likely it wasnt and the issue was taken care of.

Which product did you have problem fitting into the 05 TL driver's side? Was it what WeatherTech calls the FloorLiner or the Classic Premium Rubber Floor Mats?
