Wing Spoiler Price And Installation

I found a wing spoiler on ebay for $179 seems to be a good price dealer price is $499. Just need to tell him the color of your car. I am not sure if it has the Acura emblem under the spoiler or not going to ask tomroorw. I am not too good at installing things where should I take the spoiler to be installed? And how much should i expect to pay for the install? Thanks

The 179 dollar one on e-bay is not the spoiler with the emblem on the bottom. That one is on sale for 359

I'd also check if the $180 one comes with the upgraded springs for the hing.
Since you are essentially adding weight to the end of the trunk; you need to upgrade the springs so that the trunk stays open.

YES....I did order the decklid spoiler through Acuraparts247.com and it comes with the upgraded springs as well as templates and all the fun stuff to help make installation a bit easier. Acuraparts247 has the spoiler listed for $315 plus about $30 for shipping anywhere in the country. Not too bad considering that the dealership wanted more than $100 more than that. All OEM spoilers will come with the new springs due to the incresed weight. FYI...depending on who you have install the spoiler, apparently the springs are a bit*h to take out/install and require a special tool. I have a shop intalling mine within the next week or so.... I will better informed then.

Are you getting installation done by Acura or a private shop and if so how much are they charging you?
