Anybody else just randomly and suddenly stop working? I'm under the extended warranty I bought, but can't get into the dealership until 7/13, so basically, if it rains between now and then I'm screwed haha.

Such an irritating mishap.

 

Your extended contract doesn't allow you to go anywhere other than the dealer???

 

I purchased it through Lexus, I never thought of that. I guess it could. Though, the issue isn't the dealer not letting me come in sooner, its my schedule that doesn't permit me to get in sooner. I am eligible for a rental, but that is more headache than it is worth.

 

I think there have been a few members who have experienced some problem with the windshield wiper motor. Problem and Fixes should give you a heads up on what that might be.

 

Tha same thing happened to me about a year ago. The windshield wiper motor was fried somehow. But the dealership replaced it with no problem under warranty.
