Windshield washer spray shoots too HIGH.
Windshield washer spray shoots too HIGH.
For the first time I used the windshield washer spray and noticed that
there was lots of water on the roof and the rear window of my car. I
thought that I could simply bend the spray nozzle and fix the problem,
but it can not be done. Spray nozzles are housed in casing and can not be
bend and/or redirected.
Any ideas about what can be done about this?

you can adjust the nozzles and have it spray lower but when you drive it won't spray high enough. i think the reason is because the nozzles are located closer and somewhat lower to the windshield that acura had to make it aim higher in order to be able to hit the windshield when the car is moving. the traditional nozzles are further out on the hood and a little higher up therefor the spray is more direct.

2004 TL Washer Nozzles Are Adjustable
I also noticed that my washer nozzles were firing too high on the driver's side of my TL. While the nozzles ARE adjustable, I was unable to do so such that they fired into the center of the windshield. I found that it was all too easy to have them fire into the wiper arm itself. I have now returned their setting to the top of the windshield. My 2000 did not have adjustable washer jets, but they were properly aimed at the factory.
