i need to change the windshield, here in canada it's 900 for an acura and 400 for a non acura but with exactly the same thing (color, plastic film in the middle for sound etc ...)

What will be the price in us included installation ?

non OEM glass $300

Funny you should mention this. a month or so ago I went on a meet ride and a rock hit my windshield. Called the dealer for price and it was $866. Got a referal from one of the guys in the meet and same exact window, minus the "HONDA" word for only $300.

Totally happy with it.

 

My goal for this question was to know if the deal in US is good. Almos all no name windshield were around 490 dollars. One i know here could give me a good price at 390.00.

If you should recommand a place to change it in US what ''store'' should i go or avoid. New york state, massasuchet or maine is ok. Is there a franchise that you can find in almost all states or east coast ?

I'd like to have the same kind of recommendation from you, but it's out of the subject a bit, for the tire replacement. It's 50% less expensive than in Canada.

safelite auto glass did a great job for me. I personally helped them out during the install because they know how anal I am about my car.

I remenber when i replaced one on my 2005TL, they did some little scratches near the roof and on the side. Some people really don't care of your loved car.

 

Do you know if your OEM windshield have the acoustic interlayer like the OEM ?
