Hello everyone!

I know this has been asked many times before. I've done the search, and the only referral I've seen was Best Tint in Tustin. They only offer dyed tint.

I want a metallic tint. On my old black CL, I used a metallic tint by Madico. (Can't remember which product line by them) The tint had a nice Smoke/Grey/Slightly Mirror color to it, 35% all around.

I'm not very worried about Navi reception. Any suggestions?

Has anyone heard anything about Song's Auto Tinting off of Washington?

A1=shady, I called three different times and quoted me three (overpriced) diff $$$. A1 quoted me $380 for a 3M tint for the two backpassenger window and the rear glass. I ended up calling "ANDY'S WINDOW TINTING" from the SouthBay Area.
$190 OTD for all 5 windows and he used 3M (safe for our Navi), and Andy will go to you house...now that's service. One advice, make sure they tint inside your garage. Peace

 

Andy's 3M tinting of $190? How dark does he go and does he install felt into the door panels to avoid scratching?

 

I got 50% front & 35% back...i didn't get a felt...however, i did notice some "minor" scrathes but its neglegible (that's my opinion though)...overall Andy's workmanship is an 8 out of 10...his No. is 310-518-5329

 

I had my car tinted at Song's and they did a great job. They did my car on the spot and took about 2 hours to do 5 windows. I think I paid about $130 but that was over a year ago and that was for the cheapest film, I couldn't justify paying a few hundred dollars for the Hooper (Sp.).

 

one thing i did not expect are the crazy light defractions from the rear glass when you drive at night...

 

If I remember correctly, Best did not even have a metallic tint available as an option. Only 50/35/25/5 solargard was available, and they won't even let you choose 5 (reserved for city officials i.e. police).
