Will the Type S (manual?) go up//stabalize in value?

Will the Type S (manual?) go up//stabalize in value?
Wanted your guys thoughts on this. For all of us that own one, we know there's that *special* factor that can't be found in other cars at its price range. Even though my car is 9 years old, I still get compliments on it very regularly and have a list of people that "want to be first called if ever I decide to sell"
So with a car as timeless as this, and apparently, a demand for it too, what do you guys think?

It will completely depend on the market and the individual buyer at the time you decide to sell it. If you find the right buyer...................
Trust me - I understand what you are saying and regularly get compliments on mine as well, but know it is a 9+ year old car meaning it has dated technology and as time goes on, increased maintenance. I have a Honda mechanic who does the service and maintenance on it and wants to buy it when I'm ready.

lol go up? no. stabilize? maybe if you stop putting miles on it. look the Type-S was a great car in 07/08. your car is worth a decent amount now. get rid of it for as much as you can if you have a new car you want in mind. the special factor is waning and for the most part in your head.

I have to say if you want invest in a semi collector car its time to buy now, TL Type S with MT soon will become the next Acura legend MT with Type II engine where the price will goes down and steady out then it will bounce back up. Now if you can get your hand on a rare color combo such as KBP with Ebony/Silver or MRP with Ebony/Silver MT and are pretty much got a unicorn, if I get one of those color combo I would leave the car 100% stock without any mods.

Given the steadily dwindling supply of new manual transmission cars on the market coupled with the normal attrition of used cars with three pedals under the dash, it seems 3G TLs so equipped are already fetching a premium compared to an otherwise identical car with an autotragic transmission. Will the price continue to drop a bit over the next several years? I'm guessing yes, will they stabilize or go back up? Possibly, for good condition examples.

The 6MT sell for higher than the automatics and it's due mainly because they are hard to come by. Normally the Type-s 6MT is harder to come by than the 04-06 6MT. Certain colors can also sell for higher. A very clean 3rd gen TL would sell for higher. Small factors like a-spec and interior accessories can also hold a bit more value since most of those factory accessories are discontinued. I got offered 13K for my TL last year. The buyer was serious, I wasn't looking to sell. For someone that wants something specific, those buyers generally will spend more to have it.

I think all unique, well maintained cars will always command a premium. As far as "go up" in value honestly who knows but lots of factors weigh on those numbers. I never thought I'd see it with my M5 and 500e but pricing on those for low mileage are trending up and dont ask me about 993's I just dont get that at all, yes its a great car but...
I would say they will stabilize as any aging car usually does but in meantime treat it as an asset, maintain it and enjoy it. I need to really take my TL out more (39k) and like others when I do I have folks wanting to know if theyre for sale between my RL and TL both with A Spec kits they do turn some heads.

Maybe, the car is still owned by lots of folks who use it as A-B transportation. Until that reduces the value won't go up.

I think they will just keep going down. Maybe some of the very low mileage cars that are in rare colors with manual trans and al of the options MIGHT go up, but that can kinda be said for almost all cars

Just curious tho, did you order the car from NEW because its is not possible to walk into a dealer and see that color combo along with MT offer for sale.
