I searched the forum for this topic but, couldn't find it. I've seen that the lower grill of where the fog lights are located is shaped differently between the basic 08 TL and the TL-S. Will the TL-S front lip still fit on basic TL? Has anyone done this? I like the agressive look of the TL-S front lip but I have a basic model TL. Any suggestions.

it wont fit without modification around the fog area unless you swap in a type s bumper

 

Thanx for confirming that for me, I was thinking the same thing. My sis has a NBP TL-S and i seen the difference from the two.

 

it does not require any modification... its a mask
just throw it on and done...

I dont see why it woulnt fit....but if u tried to put the base on the type s it'll require some modification. i think there will be a gap by the fogs though because it doesnt line up correctly with them to make the fitment 100%

 

can a 06 a-spec front lip fit on a 08

Will an 07-08 A-spec lip fit on an 06 TL? I don't want to put the fogs in. I think it's nicer than the 06.

 

WOW, I personally prefer the base A-Spec much more then the HUGE BULGING Type-S front lip. I did own one so I can say so, sorry.
