It drips because it is just draining away the condensed water caused by the cooling system being colder than the surrounding air.

If it drips on the floor of your car, that's bad. See your service manager as soon as possible.

If it drips on the floor of your garage, that's ok. If it bothers you, put a shallow pan underneath to catch the drips.

On the floor of your garage or the floor of your car?
Dripping on the garage floor is normal, dripping on the carpet in the car is not.

The garage floor, or the car's floor? Garage floor would be perfectly normal. Just like any air conditioner, water condenses on the cold coils, and it has to drain someplace. There's a drain line that leads to underneath the car. There will be more water when the humidity is high, and almost none when it's low.

If there's a leak onto your carpet, the line is clogged or not hooked up right, and you need to see your dealer.

Wow. I've never seen three posts submitted at exactly the same time. And all saying just about the same thing.

But it's 1957 here in the CST zone. I hope that's magical also.
