ouch, let's look at my posts

I don't think I've expressed anything other than my opinion which I've tried to back up with facts whenever possible,

I'd love to be a part of your forum and play "devils advocate", everyone needs that. A BMW forum that just says yeah BMW's are great is terrible, your forum seems to do a pretty good job of presenting all the opinions and I think that's nice

Lets get rid of the personal insults...

For the record I have 2 Acuras, a '97 TL with 134,000 miles that has been trouble free. It has no rattles or issues.

Try finding a BMW that can match that. They require serious maintainence and a long list of things to keep an eye on.

i had a 87 325 which i purchased with 73K, then drove for years until I finally sold it with 183K 9 years later. Only problem I ever had with that car was a bad battery, and a bad alternator, not bad for a 16 year old car.

Then I had a 1995 M3, drove that for about 2 years, only mech problem was a bad fuel pump, which cost me about 500 to fix. At about the same time I had a friend with a chevy tahoe lose a fuel pump as well, turned out that the BMW repair was cheaper than the chevy repair.

BMW's with the inline 6 are mechanically just as bulletproof if not more than an acura, honda, infiniti, ...............

on the other hand though I would never own a BMW 12 cyl, too many electrical problems with those (since they generally have double the electrical systems of 6 cyl cars, and double the chance for probs)

the myth of BMW being silly expensive is just that, a myth

This doesn't sound like opinion backed with facts! Just a plain olf personal insult that don't belong here.

I have an uncle with an 01 Toyota Camry with 260k miles on it (yes, 260,000 miles!) and still looks and drives new (long commutes, many road trips including Vegas, etc.) Sure it's only 4 years old, but the miles did the punishment and still works like a champ. The only thing that went bad was an O2 sensor. I'd like to see a German or American car match this level of reliability. This anecdote would be a little more relevant if he has an Acura, but as long as we are comparing countries of manufacturers, Toyota goes in the Acura camp.

P.S. If you ever want to feel good about your (dated) car, just put some TLC into it and get it detailed at a nice shop, wash, wax, etc., the whole 9 yards. I swear it will breathe new life into your Acura, and you'll walk with the sway of a proud (new-ish) Acura owner again!

And, anyway, Inifniti works on a 5-year cycle like most everybody else.

Acura designs

I keep reading all of these tests on the G35 Infiniti and it must be a great driving car. I think that it looks 10 years old, has a dopey Japanese car stance, looks like a Sentra! It doesn't look good in person or in pics, whats up with the 4 wheel drive height? If only it were beautiful like it's sister coupe is.......but it is a toad. The TL is stunning I think and I'm sure that it is a much more thought out piece. In order to keep current Acura tries to stay modern by updating often. QR

and the myth of japanese cars falling to pieces after 100k miles is just that, a myth. actually i haven't really heard of japanese cars falling to pieces.
you've never owned anything japanese so you don't know anything about them except what you "hear"

a 95 legend still looks good today unlike the boxy e36.
i suggest you have something removed from your ass
