I know it doesn't say or show much and without a carfax report I can't figure why they are so low in price.

There have been a couple similar threads on here. Usually, when the seller is contacted, there's some catch about the car being overseas, and there needs to be some elaborate "Western Union" payment scheme.

In short, it's probably a scam. These are getting more and more common. It never hurts to contact the seller, though, to be sure... it could be the deal of a lifetime. Just be VERY careful. Follow the old adage: If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't go for it... just be overly cautious in how you part with your money.

I would guess they've been in serious accidents, are flood damaged, perhaps stolen (?) or are otherwise undesireable. Only way to tell for sure is to Carfax them.

sounds too good to be true. Probally has a salvage title or been in a serious accident. That is nothing though, I saw online that this guy was selling a 1999 Dodge Viper with only 8,500 miles for $9,000!

Carfax report won't help if it's an overseas scam. The scammers use legit VIN's and then throw them up on the web so they look legit. If it's overseas, it's a scam. If it's in the US, double check it up.

That same VIN# TL was on EBAY a few months ago so something must really be fishy if nobody bought it yet.
