The work speaks for itself... it's done RIGHT... gotta give it to them for originality... 
The choice of material/texture not so much... but everyone has his/her own taste... maybe he/she had a pair of gator shoes and/or pants that are their favorite and decided to wrap their car interior in it...
it's their car and they could do what they want with it...

it's their car and they could do what they want with it... The work done is actually amazing, if instead of "alligator skin" they used another material, this would be FIRE, well besides the roof design.
