a properly driven stock S2k can beat a properly driven stock 3rd gen TL auto, period. S2k can pull a 14s 1/4mile time. And with his mods...I am sure he will win if he can shift properly.

I had an 02 S2000 with intake, heavy 17" wheels, and bald Kumho 720's.
With a 30MPH headwind at the Track, I managed a 14.00 with a 2.0 60 foot. Assuming no wind, I would have been high 13's around 102......
Now, with my 05 TL, 6MT Intake, I have beaten an S2000....the torque is the kicker. If you get a better launch, you can get ahead and stay ahead. The S2000 is a hard car to launch, so he better know how to drive it.

i really dont noe cuz i think it might depend on the driver cuz he raced an RX8 and beat it cuz the RX8 did a bad launch, but when we were talkin bout racing an RSX S and the guy wit the s2k said he will lose, and then when the rx8 beats the RS S then he said he can beat an RSX S

Ok, I did not understand much of that.....
An RX-8 should not even be a challenge for an S2000......it'll get raped. An RSX-S with I/H/E and a Hondata flash will beat an S2000 with light mods (I/E).

that sounds right. 30 MPH is a bad place for the S2000. It's too slow for 2nd gear, if you have balls (like me) you could go into first gear.....hehe..... But with the torque you have over him, I am not surprised at that outcome. Now, do a 45MPH roll and see who wins......

06 will kick ur ass. 00-03 they suck.. since my car has nos.. I can beat 02-03 by 3-5 car depending how much i spray.. on 06 model i know nothing bout 04-05.. I can beat it by 1-3 cars depending how much i spray.. If i spray 100 i can take them by bus.. S2k are fast dont get me wrong but with right mods u can hang with it.

Haha....yeah, thats just your kickdown in the auto doing its job.......
DIRTYJOHN: 06 is the same as 04-05. 00-03 are actually the better cars IMHO because they are more of the raw sportscar vs the 04 and newer that are softer suspension, VSA on the 06's, yadda yadda yadda....I dont believe any of that should be on a sports car......luxury/sport sedan fine, but not a sports car. You can be faster in your 04-06, but I'll still take an 00-03 any day. Preferably an 02 or 03 because they had the glass rear window......
Besides, N2O puts you in a whole different category......apples and oranges. Race them without the spray and see what happens.....

not to mention the lower redline. Now, the 04 and newer do put down more torque throughout the RPM range, at some points up to 15 ft lbs, but they are rated 8 ft lbs higher than the 00-03.
The 04 is a more civilized car, where as the 00-03 are a bit more raw. Personally, I prefer that and is the only thing I really dont like about my TL. It's too cushy for me. Suspension is next on the list......
