hello

i was wondering who here has done the LED turn signal mod and installed the load resistor kit?

the load resistor kit is the resistor that you install so that the LEDs turn at the normal rate instead of flashing fast

the reason im asking is that i dont know which one of mine blew out and that my fuse keeps on blowing out and my corner lights, sidemarkers, my radio and steering wheels buttons do not light up now

the amp is in the engine bay "small light" i think thats what it was called keeps blowing out after i flip the switch

just wondering if anyone else's resistor has blown out?

I did the mod and no problems to date. It has been ten months since I installed them, and I did it for both the front and the back turn signals. Sorry...

np....got the resistors today and replaced it both and now they both work....

plus somehow my wheels like rubbed against the wheel well black fender piece and like busted open the harness but didnt seem like it did any harm

but oh well..replaced it all and they are good to go!!!!

OK I gotta ask... what's the LED resistor kit mod??

it's when you change out your front/rear filament bulbs to leds and they blink fast because leds uses less amp/watt so these resistors are put into place so that they blink normal speed instead of like 5x faster....when your regular filament bulbs are going out usually they blink fast to let u know they are about to go out

i did front and back too with the resistors as well and it's been over a year with no problems
