White Spider inside my TL
So I was driving to work this morning and as I pulled into my building's parking lot this pale white spider the size of a dime scurries across my windshield.
Now naturally it startles me a bit, but I wasn't too worried as I picked up a piece of paper to try to kill the lil bastard. Unfortunately the spider was much too quick for me and squeezed in the gap between the A-pillar and windshield.
Now I'm really uncomfortable as I'm sitting at my desk worried about the drive home. I know the spider itself is probably harmless, but the thought of it suddenly appearing in my hair or on me in anyway while I'm on the freeway will probably cause me to freak out.![Why Me](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/whyme.gif)
The one day when I need the sun out and it's cloudy...Hopefully if outside gets hot enough it'll cook the lil bastard and all its kin inside my car, ridding them from my ride at least for the drive home today.
Anybody have a similar experience with these white spiders inside their cars? Any successful strategies in getting rid of them as well as preventing future incursions into the cabin?

That wouldn't bother me too much, unless it was a brown recluse or a tarantula. Maybe some bug spray would work.
I did have a four foot long snake on the loose in my car one time. He went up under the dash and hid there. I got a little freaked when he dropped down from the passenger side and started hissing at me while doing 75 mph. I ended up parking the car with windows up and then cranking the AC to flush him out. Then when I saw him on the back seat I grabbed him and took him into the woods and let him go.

I have one living behind my driver side mirror and I always see a web from my mirror to my window. I saw that bastard peeking out at me once but I was to slow to kill it while smoking a cig and shifting.....and on the phone (

the itsy bitsy spider came down the b-pillar..
out came the screams and scared the spider back..
out came the raid and fogged up the TL..
but the itsy bitsy spider laid a million eggs..
I had a spider in my car.. I watched it scurry away.. I came back and sure enough it started slowly falling onto my arm from the headliner, crawled up my arm into the steering column.. lol. Nothing to scream about..

edit: you know I was just thinking.. a dash snake would be great to eat all the mice & rodents that get in our cars..

Haha! I like what somebody did to my avatar!
But anyways, an update..
Good thing I live in southern California cause the sun is out! I just went out for a smoke break and touched my windshield while I was out there, it was pretty damn hot! Which means it must be at least 5 times hotter inside the cabin. No way that lil bugger survived..
Mmm I'm hungry..

I do leave my window down sometimes when I park at home. But I park in a garage and yesterday I did not leave the window down after parking.
The spider must've gotten in my car last night because there is no way it could survive one day in my car at work since I park outside underneath the California sun with the windows rolled up.

Really?
In Southern California if you park underneath the Summer Sun for 1 hour the interior temperatures reach over 120 degrees or something like that. (Which is why it's illegal to leave pets or children in your car.)
I really don't think a spider can survive 8 hours in such a climate.

i was driving the other day with my sunroof open with my arm on the center arm rest. I was probably going 20-25mph on a side street that has trees covering above the road, when i felt something land on my arm. I look down and there is a huge tic on my arm, so i grab it and throw it near the shifter (bad move, i just wanted him off as quickly as possible and my windows were up) he starts to crawl away so i grab a quarter from my cup tray and smash him as he tries crawling in my storage infront of the shifter. It grossed the shit out of me and i am now worried about leaving my sunroof open.... and for those who ask if it fell from my head, it did not, i have a shaved head.

Keep in mind all spiders ARE poisonous, but not all of them affect us humans because of our decently strong immune systems. A white spider would freak me out a bit.
When I opened my rear door a spider was hanging down on a web. That freaked me the f* out. Windows were all closed (I do have door visors, but still). Quickly killed it and moved on, but in the back of my head I was paranoid. I mean seriously, an egg sack leaves thousands of spiders.
Let's hope it doesn't go ninja style on you while you drive!

I"m pretty confident that my lil spider friend has perished and is now buried within my A-piller.
There is simply no way the spider can survive inside the cabin of my TL while it's being baked under the sun.
I think it's a fitting grave for the lil bugger..
