White or Blue LED's

I am about to buy my LED's from tech toyz and wanted to know if anyone has the blue LED's. I have a WDP with grey interior I have seen how the white ones look and wanted to know if anyone has a pic of how the blue ones look.

The blue's look ok - although I think they look better on an ebony/parchment interior rather that the gray interior...

I'd go with the super white - they look clean and sharp on any interior

I am getting ready to order the whole kit; I am getting the blue for the doors and the rest white. Should look cool with my Silver / Black interior.

Same combo I have. Put the blues in the doors and whites everywhere else. I couldn't get the vanity lights open so sometimes I'll swap out the blues for the whites, but I keep going back to the blues.

I recently had the chance to look at waacow's anthracite/ebony. He purchased blue and white. I think the white gives a very nice clean professional look, where the blue gives it a ricey flare that I'm really not feeling in a luxury car.

Lembowski - how did he mix them up? Where were the blues located? And what color interior?

When I've searched through LED pics, 95% of the time, the owner says "they aren't as blue, or as bright, or as dim, or as white - etc. as the pic shows". Further, I have yet to see a pic on ebony interior.

I sure wish people could post accurate pictures of the various colors. I hate to spend an extra $20 on leds because I have no clue how they'd all look.

Waacow just bought a few of each to test with. The blue wasn't as bright as the white in my opinion. I thought the blue looked kinda wierd shining through the clouded shields in the doors. Don't get me wrong because this is personal opinion, but I'm gonna order the white soon.

white > * white looks real nice with the ebony interior and silver accents. I bought a few sets on ebay and love how they look. The lisc. plate bulbs are not working out, so i am trying a set of PIAA and Raybrig LED's to see who is the better.

Lembowski - what do you mean by "clouded shields" on the doors? And what color interior was this car?
I think that matters quite a bit as to the overall look.

I hope the hyperwhite (if I get them) aren't brighter than what came stock in the car. That's the last thing I'd want.

lembowski - I see the interior was ebony. Thanks

VTHokietl - How would you compare the light intensity/brightness between the blues and the old stock lights? Do you have any night pics? Or have you seen any pics that accurately show the true color/brightness?

For anyone who has the 9 led hyperwhites..... are these dome lights brighter than the stock lights? I'm not sure why, but it seems many hear want alot of brightness. I have no desire for that. I don't plan on reading a novel in the car, just maybe peak at some scribbles from time to time.

It sounds like someone needs to develop a cross between the blue and the white. Not so insane pimpy blue, and not so white.

Anyone in the Chicago area with the Tec-Toyz 9 led blue lights?

I have white lights in my ebony and when most people comment they say "ooooh... blue lights!"

So the white either has a slight blue tint to it or people's eyes are accustomed to crappy lights and it screws up their brains.

If you're looking for bright, you should probably go with the white LEDs. The blue ones are not as bright as the original lights. But they do have a high cool factor and I can still see everything I need to pretty easily with them. But again, they are not as bright as the original lights...

dont bother with xtin's pictures. the white balance was off on her camera which ruined the point of taking a picture to show u what something looks like especially if the focus is the color appearing acurately.

Either way it doesn’t portray the led’s very accurately. I suggest buying 1 of each and judge for yourselves, since no one has accurately caught the essence of the led’s.

It was definately a good looking picture. I'm not arguing that. Its just everyone is using your pictures to compare the lights and are getting confused

Oh man...I dont mess with cleaning....I do three meals a day on it for gods sake! We call it seasoning!

Out of good taste....I wont touch the maxi thing just like would I ever do the LED thing on my Acura (but will prepare food daily on it...lol).....dont ask me about fiancee's Lexus though.....I did make the mistake of putting them on her car (back when it was mine) and I hated it ever since I did it. I felt like a kiddie coming from the automotive isle at Meijer or Target or something....just my ...ok maybe it was a full 3 cents here.

BTW...I do more than just wash my car on the weekends....autox/drag race/ ect. So trust me....this wing is WAY smaller than most I see. In todays market...I cant even believe that call this thing a wing....with some of those HUGE adjustable things....

Thats because a wing spoiler should have a purpose....its there for aero on racing/dragging cars. Yours is just there with no purpose.

Vanity mirror lights..... Has anyone replaced them with LED? I believe I read that they take the same bulb as the domes. I'm wondering if the 9-LED looks better. We're going with blue lights on our Ebony interior (if we had a different interior color - we'd go with white)... but I'm wondering if the LEDS placed in the vanities would be the way to go to give temporary brightness and also allow me better lighting for putting on makeup when I'm the passenger.

Are they brighter than oem? And is there an issue with the direction of the light?
