Any1 know where I can go to get Black tint. I live in Orlando near UCF. Need to know where I can have a professional installing the tint properly and has mole skin to protect the tint from being scratch when the w indows are rolled up/down. My WDP-TL 04 needs to be tinted to keep those Florida SunRays out. Thnx for anybody's help

 

Do you have navi? If so make sure you get the recomended ceramic tint.

Page 3 of your Navi manual tells you that metallic tint on the back window will interfer with your GPS antenna which is under the back package shelf.

Ceramic tint (Formula One Pinnacle) does not interfer with GPS and AM radio. It costs a little more.

I did the moleskin myself. Fairly easy.

Huper Optik makes ceramic tint. Way back when I got my '04, it cost up to $200 more. And no, I didn't get it. Whatever they put on my car seems to be ok with the Navi and stereo - I thought it was metallic tint. Who knows.

 

There are lots of threads on this and you don't have to get ceramic. My Llumar Titanium 35% has worked perfectly for over a year and doesn't effect the navi or radio.

Just make sure the metal used is inert like titanium.

If the installer doesn't know what you are talking about run for the door.
