im thing about puting on a body kit for my car. can anyone point me to a good site that show pic's of all the different body kits for the 05TL.

there really arn't that many....

you have the A-Spec bodykit.....from acura...which i have and i love...you can find it on EBAY

you could probably find someone willing to sell the RonJonKit which was gorgeous and very aggressive looking but limited quanitities were made.

you could go custom....those are the only options im aware of as of now...

Wow i really like the ronjon kit, i think it look better than the aspec one. I wonder if i do get the kit, then how much can i get for my stock parts?

you won't get much for your stock parts...maybe a few hundred bucks......i don't think They are producing the ron jon kit anymore not until a few more years.

 

I went to my nearest body shop and they gave me 200 for the bumpers and 100 for the side skirts. They just happened to have a mangled TL in the lot they needed parts for. I go lucky.

 

bodykits.com is making one, but it's pure rice and is made of fiberglass. Get the RJ or OEM. As for the limited availability of the RJ, I'm sure if enough people wanted one, he'd do another production run (think that was in the works for the future, anyway).

 

Of course we are still making the kit. We already had to make another batch since we ran out of the initial run. So yes, they are available.

How many TL kits are out there now? Just curious to know how exclusive I am. :P

Incidentally, I'm getting the side skirt finally installed tomorrow... so I'll be all set.

And yes, the kit is gorgeous. Just make sure you get a good paint match!

 

my bad...i thought you were halting production on the kit for finer tuning or something along those lines....i thought u were doing the same thing with the special edition wheels
