I just bought a set and installed them. I got them from the acurazine vendor list dealer ship. $30 for each clutch and brake and $100 for the gas pedal. I foget the dealership name but the contact guy is Kaleb Cunningham and it is Santa rosa Acura.

I agree. They had a navi drive that was a warranty repair that never happened. Sold it to me for $100! Transaction was smooth as silk.

Nope thats the only thing strut king doesnt make for our cars. I think people use the one out of a civic si or an rsxs for the dead pedal as I recall reading.

You guys are both crazy! I think a Dead Pedal would complete the look of the manual pedals.

It would if someone looked down there most of the time. I have never found use blinging up the dead pedal just me. It gets scratched and eventually looks like shit. The cliutch and so on usually have rubber inserts and so on so its harder to scratch up the finish on the face.

His email is kcunningham@hanselauto.com. Tell him you are a member of acurazine to get the 20% off.

At the top of the acurazine page is a tab that says vendor directory, this is a list of vendors with deals for acurazine members and parts for our cars.

^^Those are the Supercomputers pedals. He was a vendor here some time ago. I believe he transferred his remaining stock to Excelerate at some point. No matter---they are sold out.
You have 3 options that I have been able to find:
1) Order stock TL-S pedals from an Acura dealer
2) Order a set of the Strutking pedals, but these do not come with the dead pedal.
3) Order either a full set of pedals from Ultimatepedals complete with dead pedal or get the Strutking set and order the dead pedal from Ultimatepedals.

hey guys so i priced out pedals from ultimatepedals and they are $226. I think thats a little much just for pedals. Maybe we can get a group buy going for a discounted price.

By the way im a 5AT, and got the shiny anti slip with flat grip inserts

do you have pictures of those diff pedals you are referring to in your options? that groupbuy from supercomputers was a great deal since they were going for 149 shipped... i believe.

do you know if they will ever become back in stock or is this no longer an option?

Clutch and Brake pedal covers are part number 46545-SNV-A21 and cost $30.92 each.

The accelerator pedal looks like it can only be bought as a full unit. Part number is 17800-SEP-A01 and the cost is $88.13.

They have been out of production for quite some time.
For pics of the Strutkings and/or UltimatePedals, go to the individual websites.
Steven Bell posted a pic of his customized dead pedal from Ultimate earlier in this thread.

If you're buying the dead pedal from a dealer, it's going to be black rubber. There is no metal OEM dead pedal. Here is mine again.

I bought a set of aftermarkets when I had my '05 6M/T

Did any of you guys experience the back of the screws for the clutch pedal snagging the carpet? I had to end up taking them back off.

I may have installed them wrong, but I don't see how

Hi Steven,

Do you remember whether the dead pedal you ordered was flanged or not? The images on the www.UltimatePedals.com Web site are not the best, cannot tell a difference.

Steven,

I second the question Cooper asked on the flanged vs non flanged. Their site pictures are hard to see and do not really help answer that question. Also, I did not see any of these with the TypeS logo. Did you add that or was it something they do not list on the site but, will do if you call? Thank you in advance...

Guys, my Dead Pedal IS flanged. The flanged part is the overlap portion on the right hand side.

Chromed-I bought a Type S logo and removed the 2 sided tape on the back of the badge and placed it on.

BUT.....you can send Ultimate Pedals a Type S badge and they will embed it into the pedal. Bearcat had that done-it looks great. Here is Bearcat's Dead Pedal......

As you can see, Bearcat ordered the pedal with the rubber inserts on it-to match the brake pedal-his pedal is not flanged. You can see the difference between the two styles.

New to the forum. I'm going to purchase a 3-piece set from Ultimate Pedals for my 05 TL AT. I prefer their grooved anti-slip machining so I'm wondering if I should just skip the rubber inserts. Any opinions on this? With a machined tread in the pedals, it would seem that the only argument in favor of the rubber knobs would be that they preserve the finish...
