Where can I get some decent brakes?

Front brakes are almost gone, I was gonna contact brakemotives but looks like he disappeared. Such a great deal he was offering, I should have bought it from him when he was still around!

Anyway where do you guys buy your brakes now? nothing fancy, just something decent is fine!

I'm a firm believer of...you get what you pay for. That being said, there are mixed reviews here on AcuraZine. I had all 4 rotors and pads on my car and I had no issues whatsoever for about 55k miles before I changed them out.

I'm looking to swap mine out somewhat soon too, but I can't remember what I had looked into a few months ago. I'm actually looking forward to removing all my Brakemotive stuff, I've had some vibration.

I would suggest looking into Stoptech rotors and street performance pads, both available and in stock on our website. They are reasonably priced and will provide exceptional performance.

I highly suggest Brake Performance. They were cheaper than all other options I looked at for slotted rotors, and thus far I'm 100% satisfied with their pads and rotors.

I've had good experiences throughout the years of using Duralast C-max Gold ceramic pads. I've used Power Slot and Rotora slotted rotors and they were good for me. Except I wouldn't give Rotora another dime.

Explain. I'm sure it's somewhere on AZ but searching is always too difficult

Long story short they left a ton of customers out in the cold when they stopped supporting their 1pc rotor BBK’s. A lot of people invested in them, and Rotora stopped producing replacement rotors, refusing to back their product and telling people they could trade in their old kits for new 2pc rotor BBK’s.

If you search at all for Rotora BBK, you will find numerous threads with people desperately researching solutions. I myself talked to several vendors and got close a couple times to finding a rotor that would work, but it was still a dead end.

Rotora could have easily continued to offer the rotors, but chose money over customer service.

Did you get the plain slotted? That is the place I had found a while back, but couldn't remember the name of. The drilled and slotted seem like the best value, although I hadn't planned on getting drilled rotors again.
