When did your oil life drop to 90%

Mine is still 100% but I was wondering when (after how many miles / months) did yours drop to 90% for the first time?

Mine just dropped to 90% the other day. I had just rolled over 400 miles.

i've never really kept track of the miles driven til it dropped to 90%, but it usually stays on 100% for a while...on my current oil right now, i changed it on a friday, then a week later we went on a road trip (approx. 350-400 miles total) and by the time we got back home, i was down to 90%...since then it has dropped to 80%, but it's been on 80% for a while now...just depends on the mileage i guess...i always thought there was actually a sensor monitoring the oil and how dirty it is...

I wanna say its more so a factor on engine revolutions.

if you beat on it a lot its in lower gears and thus high speeds, more wear/etc where as if you cruised down the highway at 55mph for a week solid..

Mine just turned over 4100 miles and I noticed it was at 50% (I usually leave the HID on outside temp)

I noticed mine was 90% when I was around 500 miles. I did do a fair amount of stop and go and idling so that may have been a factor.

I haven't decided yet if I am going to believe the meter or just get it changed every 5,000 miles with Mobil-1 (Like I have been doing in all my cars for the last decade)

I read you should change oil when at 15% no less. 0% is pushing it IMHO

Depends on if I drive mainly highway or if its around town. Since I've been back at school and am spending 95 percent of the time off the highway it goes down much quicker - probably 300 miles.

Went down to 90% after 380 miles I think. It did this a little more than a month after I bought it (07 TL with nav).
