Question Wheels?

I know it will ultimately be my decision, but since this forum can be very critical, I thought I would ask this question.

What do you guys think of the 5Zigen Copse in Silver?
I have a Satin Silver TL.

What about Nakayama Phantons or ADR Formulas?
Hyper Black or Silver? Many look nice. Too many to choose from.
When they put them next to the car, they all look nice.

Do you think that I should get wheels that are set in a inch or so or get the type that are set like the A-SPEC wheels where the spokes are on the edge of the wheel? Speeking of those wheels. My dealer wanted 2k for them.

They look just like the Nakayama Vador 5 for $185 each. Is this correct?

The lines on the car are so new, you don't see many with aftermarket wheels on them.

Hoping to see more pictures from the West coast. I have seen a couple already.

Thanks

Your dealer is asking way too much for those wheels...you can find on ebay for cheaper.

As for your choices, I do like wheels with lips, but lips make the wheel look much smaller. I would not get a wheel with a lip unless it was a 19", otherwishe it will look too small on the TL. I personally liek the Hyper 5ZR if you were to get a 5Zigen (you can get in a cool gunmetal or regular silver) and the ADR and Nakayama were not bad either

Those Hypers were sharp. I understand your point, but did not really want to go 19s.
Just don't want to overdo it. I want the car to look sharp but still be conservative. I think once I get the springs on, the 18s will look nice.
Thanks again for the great advice.

If you can, post some pics of the wheels you mentioned, then we can give our opinion. I'm too lazy to go look all of those up

I think if you insert img tags around those, they will display..

Yeah I know... I'm EXTREMELY lazy. Okay, I'll click on them...

Incidentally, I had the 5Zigen Hyper 5ZR's in 19" on my S4. I don't know if they come in the TL's bolt pattern but they were amazing wheels.

The DL46's look like SSR GT3's. Didn't someone just post a picture of there car with those rims on there?

Personally I like the DL46's and the 5Zigens

Yes. There is a car with SSRs but my car is leased. Not going to spend too much on the wheels knowing they are gone in a few years. BTW: The black car with those wheels looks great.

It's so much easier when seeing them on a car. Sharp!

I may have to do 19s now...

Well.. If I go with 19s, will I have to do any suspension work?
I plan in just getting Comtech Springs and doing 18s.... Just curious They are ordered but it will take about a month.

One last question. I am getting wheels this weekend.

I am waiting for Comtech springs to come in at my acura dealership. If I get 18s will I need to do any other specific suspension work to handle the new wheels?

Thanks for all your help.

No other suspension work will be needed. As you put on larger and larger wheels, I suspect you will only need to align the car as the camber should not be effected. This should hold true for 19s as well. You might want to consider sending a PM to RKilian as he has those SSRs you like in 18 or 19 with Comptechs (I believe)...at least he can tell you from experience with this particular car.
