Hey guys,

I'm picking up my TL tomorrow and am curious about a couple of fees. I'm in California by the way. The 2 I'm concerned about are the tire fee and the doc fee. Are these standard fees?

I believe the $5 tire fee is a standard government-mandated fee. The document preparation fee is not. My dealer charged $45 for the doc fee.

 

Dock fees are not mandatory - though the dealer says they are. Anyway - in our powerbuy deal the original deal for the Auto Nav TL was 1500.00 under MSRP. I told them I didnt want to have any Doc fee's, but rather than wave it, they reduced the cost down to 1600.00 under MSRP (or 1500.00 over invoive.)

The tire fee is $5.00 and a state fee with your license...
