What's required to fit TL-S Aspec front lip on 2008 Base TL?
Ok, before you say "not another 'will the lip fit' question", let me just say that I've scoured the forum and cannot find any specific details on what is required to get this done.
Most threads are very general with comments like "needs modifications", "needs new fog light housing" or "needs new TL-S bumper", etc.
I will be installing on my base bumper, so what modifications, specifically, will I need to do? I think answers to the following questions would help a newbie like me:
1. Any cutting required?
2. What's the part number of the fog light housing?
3. Will I need new fog lights or can I use what I currently have?
4. What other things should I be aware of when doing this?
5. Is Lady Gaga going to be the mother of the anti-christ?

The lip will fit fairly well, it'll just not work out in certain spots like the lower sections where the fog lights are since the TL-S ones are slightly different from the Base TL. Cutting won't help much because the lip doesn't cover up that spot, it blends into it.
IMO, the Base 2007-2008 A-Spec kit looks nice and clean on the front of the car.

I feel the same, which is why I want the more aggressive tl-s aspec. So if I do this, I just need to swap out the fog light housing? What about the fog lights themselves? Anybody know how much the fog light housings usually go for?

I was able to get some prices and part numbers for the fog housing units from the local Acura dealership. Ouch for the prices, but I'll keep looking for a better price online.

I took mine to a local, trusted body shop and told them to make it fit, but it cost me plenty. If you are anywhere near New Jersey, you can contact AckTL05, i believe he do the install for a small fee (he is also a vendor on here and sells the kit)

Unfortunately, I'm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Just out of curiosity, did he change out your fog light housing? If not, would you mind uploading a pic so I can see what it looks like?

The first pic seems like the car is high off the ground. Maybe I should just go with the Aspec since it's a bit lower (this is just me trying to talk myself out of the tl-s aspec).
That's very flush though. I wonder if the fog light was custom fitted. Very nice looking car.
