Hello everyone,

Car: 2007 TL-S 6MT

I'm just done with adjusting the valves and when I was ready to put the rear cover back on, I saw this part in the head, between the rockers, on the driver's side. I looked on www.acuraoemparts.com to find out what it was with no luck.

Does someone here know what this is? It loofs like a vent or a filter of some sort. It's all clean and oily so my guess is it goes in a closed environment somewhere (head, evap, PCV…)

Frankly, I've done a bunch of valve adjustments on Odyssey's but this one confuses me…

Now the question is: How did it get in between the rockers of the head?

 

I have no idea. Something must have happened when the cover was off. Read: kids

Yes.

nothing was broken. The breather is just pushed in.
