I know the 04 production has been stopped and I'm guessing my car was one of the last ones made (6MT ABP/Quartz Navi). My vin was in the high 71460's. Has anyone seen VINs in the 71470s?

I guess sales were really good, acura only estimated sales at 60k per year, at 73K the first year they over shot that by 21% or so.

Can't understand why everyone is assuming 2004 production has stopped...I have seen dealer's supply chain reports showing 2004 production planned until Oct 20 to 29 (supposedly the final "days" per one dealer). Assuming there is no side-by-side production of 04 and 05, that would mean Nov 1 or so as the first 05 production date, meaning noone is getting an 05 until mid-November, which is still 2 months (= 1/6) of a year away...

Build date: Sep 10 2004, expected delivery Sep 25 or so

They will probably only steal the ones that don't have the crappy EL-42 Bridgestone tires on them. I'm safe. Whew!
