whats else improves MPG other than CAI

From what Ive read on other threads........A CAI will help with the MPG if you lay off the gas, but whats the point of having a TL and not having it sound mean or not going fast. So thats out the door. I wanted to ask my fellow Aziners if anyone is aware of another way to boost gas mileage. I have a K&N drop in Air filter and it didnt do shit as far as gas mileage is concerned. So if anybody has any suggestions please let me know.

thanks

Arman

the e-shift pro cats add about 21 WHP and improve MPG due to the freer flowing exhaust. But this will not pass inspections because the cat was replaced before 80,000 miles. Also Weight reduction such as getting rid of the spare tire and other unnessary items helps.

Basically anything that makes the car more efficient like they have mentioned above.

UR pulley (which they currently are gonna have a Group buy for )
reducing weight (check the "Putting the TL on a diet" thread for more info)

1) Keep high air pressure in the tires (perhaps close to 40 psi). With colder weather arriving, it is important to check your tire pressure each time the temps take a nose-dive.

2) Do not carry unnecessary items in the car/trunk (heavy tools, luggage, golf clubs, books, etc.)

Absolutely right. Honda already did all that could be done for now, but you can trade in your TL for Prius or Smart.
