ok. my choices are a 05 TL w/navigation and my second choice is a 06 TL w/navigation. the question i wanna know is why is the 05 TL hp rated at 270 and the 06 TL is rated at 258. if it is the same engine why is the horsepower lowered. can sum1 please tell me why that is because i like speed and im going to put a super charger in the one i get.... is it true that the 06 is really 258hp or did the just say it was 258 when it is still 270......

 

its the same motor with the same hp....they just changed the way they rated the hp...

 

same motor, just the way the HP was measured was changed. Also in 06 TPMS was added along with a torque management system to reduce torque steer.

 

same exact hp. nuff said.
