Well, here ya go! I have 3200 miles on my TL, and since new, have averaged just under 26 mpg. My worst tankfull was 21.5 mpg and my best was 29.4 mpg. On trips, I can easily get 450 miles out of a tank and around town from 320 to 350 miles. Gas prices here in the northwest are $2.15 / gallon for premium. The tank will nominally hold 17 gallons. You can do the math. Cheers!

A current survey could be useful. There are more TL's now on the road and finally a few with a fair number of miles. When the number of the cars in the survey are mostly new the bias will be toward a lower number as the cars aren't broken in yet.
My TL has less than 1k miles and I am averaging 23-24 mpg mostly city with 1 tank highway. Worst tank was 21 best was almost 30. My MID has been dead nuts on with my hand calculated mileage. It's so close as to be scary. If I had more significant digits it would probably get it to the tenth. So for if my MID says 23 I have gotten 23.x and not 22.x. So far I am pleased with the mileage and it should only go up later when I am not running with winter gas, cold weather and the car finally broken in.

If you folks are not getting at least 20 there is something seriously wrong with your car or your driving habits. My 02 TL averages 25 in our Alaskan winters around town and it isnt babied and has studded tires on all four wheels which seriously cut down its rolling resistance. On the flip side I have never gotten less than 18 in my 2001 6 speed Vet around town either.

Last check was 28.25, but about 110 miles of that was on Virginia country roads, 2 and 4 lane (our roads are very good here in Virginia).
In the colder months, I average around 24.5 to 25 MPG and in the warmer months, around 27+ MPG.
Permium at the station I generally use (BP-Amoco) is $1.91.9 per gallon.

13,500 miles....i usually get around 260-280 on a full tank...my commute to work is 1 mile (not even lol) so majority of it is from city driving...very little from highway...i fill up 91 octane at exxon...$2.15 per gallon...costs me about $30 for a full tank...i have an 04 automatic that is a little over one years old...

It seems like i'm getting 14-18 city, and 26-30 highway. I have around 580 miles on the car.
Snowwolfe, I'm sure that city driving in Alaska is quite different than it is in say... Los Angeles.

Three Wheelin'
My worst tank has been 24, my best have been two trips at 31 (these were both 600 mile trips). I typically get 24 - 26. This includes a fair amount of freeway driving, but every morning and night I get into some stop and go driving going into downtown Houston from where I live.
Oh, and to all of you people who insist on "doing a search". If you don't want to see another thread on a subject, don't open it, and don't respond. Pretty simple, huh?

Also, for any noobs in the audience, don't forget to reset your Trip Computer before you get all worked up about mileage ... (go to the trip computer and hold enter until all indicators reset) It can make a big difference!!
