That looks like somethin that belongs at Hot Import Nights. Any lights more than door sills and footwells are overkill IMO.

lol thats immediately what came first to mind. TRON!

I agree with the others it shouldn't be installed in a TL, if anything just do an LED interior MOD. Although, I actually like that Music effects with the wire lights lol BUT not for the TL, of course!

Back in 2000, my brother did this to his truck. It looked cool at the time but I was still in grade school so anything modded was nice back then. Now we both reminisce about those times and laugh our asses off lol.

honestlyyyyy... i think its tacky.. but if you wanted to do something like the "sound activated" ones, you could do the LED footwell mod (https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/%5Bdiy%5D-lets-add-some-class-footwell-led-lighting-847702/) and wire them to the remote wire that goes from the amp to the subwoofer (usually blue if you have an aftermarket sound system, i dont know the color for our TLs) and whenever the amp sends the signal to the sub (via remote wire), your footwell LEDs will light up..

how does it light up? and to certain lengths?? I think a tiny red accent one could be very well played in a type s. Just saying, possibly......... You never know until you do it and see. I just might

+12V => inverter driver => 110VAC, 1800HZ. One inverter will drive ~50' of el wire.

The newer Volvo's have something like this around the roof console and on the top of the b pillars. They light up white and give off a slight hue of light to the interior. Not saying that it would apply here though. I do agree it might be too much for the TL's interior. The Volvo has the design for it.

I love the rice picture!!!!!!! so funny!

yeah i would not put this in my car i just wanted to see what people think and see if anyone has done it on here. I did the blue LED mod when i first got the car and im already over than. If i wasnt so LAZY I would get some stock looking LEDs. I actually came across EL wires cuz i want to put one in the spiral gumball machine in my restaurant hahahaha! Imagine a sound sensitive gumball machine

that or paint him like this
