What to use to clean dash?

I don't like Armor All because of the oily look. What works well for cleaning the dashboard and surrounding areas? My TL is little over a year old and I havn't used anything but water so far and there's a white look to it now?

Any good suggestions?
thanks

I work for the service Department at an Acura Dealership and we use Meguiers Gold Rich Leather Cleaner conditioner. That works well. On my own 04 TL, I use Aerospace 303. Works even better.

For the plastic/vynil surfaces I use meguiar's quick interior wipes followed up with 303 for protection. For the leather, I just started using poor boys natural leather cleaner. Works pretty good so far.

I also use Aerospace 303 on the dash and other similarly textured parts. I use Meguier's Quick Detailer on the "shiny" plastic parts (i.e. the "faux" carbon fiber pieces, etc.).

Thanks guys. I went out and got Meguiers Gold Rich Leather Cleaner and it looks really good. I think I'll have to get some of those quick wipes too.

to an extent

I like the oily look, but the reflection during the day is way too bad and sometimes the reflection of the glare from the dash to the windshield makes it impossible to see out of.

I had to tell the place where I get my car detailed to just clean the dash and don't put the protectant on it any more.

That's just the cleaner, you might want to use 303 for protection from the sun.

I think the Armoro all wipes work GREAT, becuase its a pre-set amount in each area so it comes out just right when applied. Protects real well and leaves a perfect shine!

For leather I use mothers leather cleaner, followed by conditioner.....good as new!

Clean: 10 to 1 Water & Woolite.

Condition and Protect: I use Meg's Vinyl and Rubber protectant. So many here swear by 303. I'll give it a go next time I restock.

I had the meguiars leather cleaner/conditioner, and it works well, but the problem I had was that it was a creamy color and it would seep into the perforated holes in the leather seats and stay there... I havent had such issues with the poor boys.

I use microfiber cloths for everything. Their whole purpose is that they dont scratch/hurt anything.

I believe the OP got the answers he was looking for. Please check out the Wash & Wax forum if you have any additional car care questions.

BTW, the 303 Aerospace can be purchased at Kragen autoparts. You can find other locations on their website: http://www.wheretobuy303.com/
