What type of Tint????????/

WWhat kind of tint do you guys put on your Nav TL 04. I read in my manual I cant use metallic tint on the car because it affects the XM Radio and Navi system. What do I use then? Need tint that blocks out UV rays and last a very long time. Anyone have any ideas?

LLumar or 3M are the most commonly used I think....
Had LLumar last time and I think 3M this time, would take 3M.

Yes, you definitely need ceramic to avoid interference with your navi. My advice would be to look at Huper Optik Ceramic 30, 40, or 50 (depending on how dark you want it), or FormulaOne Pinnacle. Both very good films, but either way you go, they will be very pricey. Don't expect to pay much less than $400.

Llumar Titanium 35% has worked flawlessly for 9 months, no navi problems. The titanium is inert. Don't use a dye based tint I was told.
