What type of motor oil to use in 06 TL 110k

What type of motor oil to use in 06 TL 110k
I recently purchased a one owner 06 6 speed TL which recommends 5w 20 oil.Im not too sure of the oil type the previous owner used'but i would like to upgrade to castrol synthetic what do you guys recommend

You can use just about any oil you want. You can stay with dino or go to synthetic. You can stick to 5w-20, or go to 5w-30, or even run 10w-30. It's not recommended, but it won't hurt your car.

Exactly what Princely said. 5W-30 will be the best.
I know your new, but please next time look on the first two pages or use the search function to find this before making a new thread. They are literally over 200 threads about oil.
