Stick to DW1.
The only reason I went to Redline was to see if it would fix my slipping transmission but it didn't.

You could always read the many threads on other, better fluids out there. Dw-1 is a good fluid for cold climates and it's not a horrible fluid for all around use as Z1 was. A Dex III fluid, or better, Dex VI, or Type F fluid can reduce clutch pack wear and give better shifts. I've been on Dex VI and Type F for many years. 131k and still going strong. Several road racing events on these fluids.
It's beneficial to do research for yourself because people are too excited to shout their opinion with nothing to back it up around here. Plus, there's years and years of data around here if you search. Saying end thread doesn't make an opinion right, it means the person doesn't want to discuss reasons why they chose what they chose.
In a normal climate you will see better shifts with Dex IV or III and lower clutch wear but you need to replace the switches at the same time.

On a rebuilt transmission from Jasper. My original on an 06 TL went at 95K.
Per the warranty, I have to use only DW1. And so far, it's been very good. I change every 15K - 20K. Surprisingly, the rebuilt shifts like butter. It's better than the original ever was.
Anyhow, I've read a lot of threads on AZ when I tried to save my original one (3x3 flushes, switches, Redline, etc...). I think it was already too late at that point. Plus, I used to race this coworker on the way home from work and I beat the hell out of it. I think that was actually what finally caused it to go. Too much abuse and I wasn't changing it every 5-10K (given how I was driving it).
