What are these 3 plastic caps that are held on with allen head caps screws.


I'd like to remove them to paint them but when I took the bolt out is seems it holds more than just the cap . Is it safe to remove the assembly ? What is it? And does the plastic cap come off of the assembly?

 

those are your coils.. they are safe to remove and can be replaced in any order

 

But can they be painted?

 

Yeah...but Jess, is that an old pic, or did I fall asleep too long and you repainted the engine bay?

Ok answered that myself .. partially comes off .. .. I'll pull them and mask them off and paint them too.
