I have no clue yet and I am going to get this kit...is it made out of fiberglass and will it chip or break through the years?

poly..... it'll chip from rocks n hitting it with a hammer nothing else really.

 

Ok so it is somewhat fragile

 

the kit is durable, out of anyone i have ever heard that had the kit never had any problems with breaking. i mean if ur car is dropped and u bottom out hard, im sure it will crack. just know how to drive ull be fine lol
