What should I do?

Hey everyone,

When I first went to see my Acura TL at a private dealership, there was a dent on the driver side door/side skirt area. I have a picture below. The dealer fixed it all up, but after couple weeks the paint started chipping away in that area. I was wondering if there would be any way to fix this problem without having to go to a body shop.

Thanks

I would take it back to the dealership and have them figure out what to do

It was acually 5 months ago when I bought the car. I have been so lazy to inquire about it before. My fault ;/

It's probably too late then. I highly doubt there's anything you can do besides take it to a shop.

Honestly, I wouldn't even worry about fixing it. Slap some touch up paint on it and call it a day.

In case it hasn't been mentioned yet....you could try the A-Spec kit. But get the whole thing, you won't regret it!

Do you think the car will look ugly if I just get the a spec side skirts for now?

Just incomplete to the trained eye. Average person passing by wouldn't notice.

Agree. But I've also never seen just the side skirts since typically people get front or front and rear if they aren't getting the entire kit.

You know, if money is tight and you don't have short term plans go get the kit, put up a want to buy thread in the black market. Everyone who has gone a-spec had to pull off their stock skirts, I'm sure many people have them laying around still.

In the time it took you to post this, you could have called them about the situation and most likely had it addressed... Just sayin.
