No, they wouldn't sell me an 08 for less than invoice, I did get the document fee waived though.

Probably could have done a little better. That's a great money factor, but I would have never put that much down on a lease. Your total lease cost is around $16200, plus a rebuy at the end of the lease would mean you got an 08TL with nav for $36,300 out the door. Compare that to what others are getting the same car for.

'08 TL Type S.

Before Tax and tags: 36,233 (or something like that, it was $500 over invoice)

I think I did alright.

Either way, the car rocks. If I had to do it again, I'd pick the TL Type S over and over and over... maybe in a few years I'll lust for the BMW again, but for now, I'm so happy!!

So what have others got there's for and what kind of deal should i have got? I wanted a payment no more than $350-360? Could they have sold me the car for less than $33,700?
Everyone i spoke to was shocked they even went that low and one guy that works at another Acura store told me they were losing money and at $33,700 that was way below cost and he could not touch it?
What is dealer invoice does anyone know? I can still back out of the deal as for they are waiting for my down payment and i have not taken delivery of the car....

Something's not adding up. If you plug in these numbers here, it tells me your payments should only be $326.

In my opinion, if you have to ask what the dealer invoice is, you are in over your head and need to do a lot more research before entering into a deal for this car.

Ands also keep in mind that out of that $3500 down only $2840 goes towards cap reduction due to there are some up front fees such as licensing $252.50, doc fee $50, first months payment $351.29 etc...
Here is what my contract says if I accept it:
Agreed upon price $33,700 + $595 lease aquisition fee =$34295 (gross cap cost)
Cap cost reduction $2840.96
Final cap-cost $31,454.04 (what my payments are based on)
Residual purchase value at lease end $20,317
36 month lease
15k Mileage allowance a yr
.00081 M/F
Total monthly payment of $351.29

How can i do any better and if i can help a new TL member out before I finalize the deal!

OK, with these numbers it all adds up, but I still don't think you're getting a good deal. It looks to me that your paying the same out the door price that someone who was paying sales tax would be paying: about $36000.

And the leasecalc site is spot on. I'd even be more wary of this dealer if he's trying to blame the website for miscalculating the lease.......

Well i have spoke to 4 dealers today and they said $33,700 is a screaming deal for an 08?

None of them would even come close to it the best i got was $34,000 from someone else and they did not even want to do that but would.

How am i suppose to get a better deal the residual's are set by Acura correct?
And the M/F is awesome already...So IM unsure where to go here on a better deal?

I Mean IM already getting over $3k off MSRP is there more room?
I could put less cash down i suppose and the payment will rise to about $395 without tax and thats with $1300 down plus my out of pocket costs of around $700...So total out of pocket of $2k and on a lease if i put more down doesnt that mean its lowering the monthly payment? So either way i pay it higher now or put a little more down and have a lower payment for the term correct?

Paid $26500 OTD for a Certi PreOwned 2006 non-navi

Paid $26500 out the door for a CPO 2006 non-navi with 14k miles on it. Looks and drives brand new. Would like to know if this was a good deal or not.

Racer- you've already bought the car my friend. Whether it's a good deal or not is irrelevant. BTW, I do think it is a good deal.
