Was wondering if you guys can help me identify this lip or post other BASED 2007 TL with the 2007 Based A-spec Lip Kit (not type S Front Lip)...

Could this be a 2006 A-spec lip on a 2007 TL?

If you look here...There's a gap (not flushed) on the 2007 Base A-spec Lip if you look close at the Acura Factory picture by the Fog Light ^^^NO GAP ABOVE!...

looks to me like its just the bumper itself with no lip.....look at it closely and You will see. The second picture is of lower quality and smaller so your eyes are playing with you. All the 2007 models looks like that, as if they have a lip, but its just a regular bumper with that new fascia.....

so is the lip on the white TL a 06 a-spec lip or 07 a-spec lip?

looks to be an 07 a-spec non tl-s lip, I just installed one on a friends car.

did you install a 07 lip or 06? If 07 was there a gap between the fog and lip like in the second pic or flush like the white car?

I think the grill is wider on the '07s, so there will be a gap (on the sides) if you try to fit it on an '04-'06.

I don't either-I am thinking that the light is hitting the kit in such a way causing it to look like it might have a gap. If that is not it, then I have no idea what you are seeing.

See the gap here it's not flush like the 04-06...

Very interesting! Is that lip available for purchase anywhere? I think the 07 Types S lip is too weird.

Those two lips are the same thing...just at different angles. Same gap in both pics in reality. Its just a normal A-Spec lip.

There is no gap on the silver one, it is just the lighting.

Hey, Select_TL. Let me know how it went. I have Acura TL 07 base white. and am thinking about doing the same. Where did u purchase the 04-06 lip though and how much?

looks like your basic tl with aspec kit, wheels and lip, probably rear as well...since its at a car show somewhere....

I have an idea about the TL-s front lip in which I do not like.......Instead of changing bumpers to the base model to get the regular looking lip.....what do you guys think about shaving the mask part off of the tl-s front to make it look more like the 07-08 base model front lip.....dont mean to thread jack...

i didnt realize it when i bought my 06, but the apsec lip is so much more noticeable then the ones on the newer base tl, and the tl-s lip just looks awkward. i still prefer lip over no-lip, but it is too bad that they changed them like they did.

the mask part......the part that goes over the fog lights.....if you look at the type-s aspec front lip you'll understand.......hopefully! lol
