I know it was Pearl Jam, but I can't remember what song it was.

I make sure to break-in any new system with something Pearl Jam. Actually, that's normally what's playing most of the time.

 

My first song was from Dream Theater - Octavarium. But my second was the 5.1 version of Sting - Send Your Love . Nice choice, Acuraboy7.

 

the first song i listened to when i got the TL was on XM radio. It was "stuntin like my daddy" by lil wayne. hahaa and it was the perfect song while driving side by side on the freeway with my dad.

 

first song I listened to was the sample dvda they gave me with the car.

i remember cuz i just bought it 2 weeks ago.

 

well i've only had my car for 3.5 weeks...and I dont even remember what song it was. I know it was Pearl Jam, and I do believe it was Live at the Garden...but other than that, not sure.

I truly don't remember what the first song I played was. I defintely know that when I drove off the dealer's lot, I didn't have the stereo on. I was so nervous that I was gonna be one of those people who drive off the lot and imemdiately get in an accident especially since the dealership is less than 2 miles from my house.

I only had one CD on me when I traded in my previous car. So I listened to The Jonbenet on the way home.....

Remember the 1st 3G TL commercial with the road being formed in front of the TL as it cruised along with the narration "BE THERE FIRST...."?

I downloaded the video of the commercial, used a program to rip the audio from it creating an MP3 file, then burned it to a CD as a regular CD audio file. So as I 'pulled out' of the dealer (after getting them down to a price that no one else could get anywhere at the time) on May 1st 2004, I hit the voice button and proudly shouted, "CD PLAY DISC 2 TRACK 1"

So yes.......I WAS .... THERE FIRST ! .....and have been plowing the road ever since .....




The MP3 is only 117K. Anyone interested, PM me with your email address, or better still, if someone can host it for download, even better. I also have the audio from the other two 2004 TL commercials, Money and Satellite. I use the audio from MONEY, the one where the guy who also appears in some IBM commericals is driving the TL in the desert behind the armored truck with all the money flying out the back, to pull out and pass.-- "CD PLAY DISK 2 TRACK 16". The MP3 on this one is only 120k.

Curious how all the 2004 TL commercials starred 6MT NAVIS.........
