what is the fastest you have taken the 3rd generation Acura TL?
I want to be able to race this thing when I get it out on Interstate 5 and Interstate 10 in California, where it's nothing but miles and miles of open stretch. I currently drive a 2000 Lexus ES300, and I can't get it past 125 mph on a flat, but I did manage to get it to 130 on a slight downhill. Now this car is only a 4 speed and 210 HP. About a year ago when I took my car for the 60K service, they loaned me a 04 ES330, which is a 5 speed auto with 225 HP. That thing was POWERFUL and I got it up to 130 very easily and 135 on a downhill on Interstate 5 in the central valley in California.
What about you guys that speed on open stretches with the TL? How fast have you gotten it up to?
