What do you guys think about this A-Spec emblem mounting idea?

Hey guys,

I posted in a previous thread about how I messed up the mounting of the emblem on the back of the car and after I removed it, I was thinking about it some and thought it might look good in another location.

Here's a pic of my current setup including my DVD player which has taken the place of the top compartment in the radio area. I was thinking about placing the A-Spec emblem on the lower compartment where it's indicated in red.

I played around with it a bit yesterday and it looked pretty clean and nice to me but I wanted to get your all's thoughts too.

Thanks!

Would the thickness of the emblem stop the door from going up? Either way I'm not a fan of symbols everywhere....................

I checked this too and it doesn't get in the way. The door still closes like normal.

I have 2 emblems and I was thinking about putting one in the exact location, but I don't think it looks right. I have the emblem in my car somewhere....

Put it on your other car (or your wife's car), whatever that may be.

hahaha dang.....seems like no one likes the idea of the emblem being mounted there. I think it's just me who thinks it would look okay

I don't think it would look bad, but I think it would look better on the outside.

This is a good idea but bad location. I personally think it would look better on the dash where the aluminized molding is near the right vent control. Audi puts there Quattro on this strip and it looks good there. It's actually closer to the radio on the Audi's on that strip. So maybe on the TL it would look good there.

hmm.....I took a look at that area and tried placing the emblem there. It still doesn't look right. I think everyone's right. The ideal location is definitely on the back of the car where it's supposed to go.

If you did put it there, then you would need to get one of those air fresheners that dangle from the rear view mirror.
