Nothing at all and im always looking at other TL's when I see them. Even when I see another Type S sometimes I will get a look and if they wave I certainly will to but that hasnt happened yet. The TL is just another car to most.

Now what was awesome is when I drive the Corvette pretty much every other corvette owner waves at you. Good group of people they are.

 

I give them the look, esp TYPE s owners. I check out their car as well as the driver to see if they they are from acurazine. But i'm def no hater. I like to greet our fellow TL owners. =)

 

I always see this one woman driving a WDP type-s and there is a guy driving a silver type-s and the woman always nods first when she sees me but the guy looks over and speeds away. He also cuts ppl off on the highway and drives like an idiot. I give him the finger from time to time hahaha

 

I try to see who is driving and from that point I decide to give a nod, wave or whatever. But most of the other tl owners over here are haters cause they'll be in a base tl while I'm in the S. In fact it just happened yesterday some dumbass in a silver 04-06 tl was trying to flex and show off cause heis was dropped and blacked out but I had to put it on him and show him that the extra .3 liter makes a difference.

 

see who is driving, check for mods and then usually just honk and drive off. but when they try to stunt its a different story...

 

I saw a banging CBP TL with an A-Spec kit and tint and pulled up beside to see the driver, and it was a hot broad!!!! Never in a thousand years would I have expected that!

 

I go home and get on acurazine and go to the spotted section but then none of the spotted ones I have seen never come on so I quit doing it. Now I just let them look at my car and stare and if they are on acurazine they can say hi.

 

No enthusiast in my area that drive 3G TL's that I've seen.. but if I see one I usually push the TL a little to let them know what they're really rolling in..

I always give a glance. Type S, I give a double take.

 

A TL is a TL.......u should always double take

 

it depends the older Tl drivers get an affirming look...the younger people get the "nod" of mutual respect...

 

I always check them out-especially the Type S TL's (because they are very rare in Kansas City). You can usually tell the ones that really are enthusiasts-tinted windows, etc...

 

Me too!!! This reminds me that I have clean my dashboard as there's lots of TLs in my area...

 

I let the base TLs know that my TLs a TYPE S but only when the base TL drivers act stupid. I cut them and show them the quad exhaust and the red TYPE S emblem. haha how immature of me xp

I usually do nothing; it seems like I see 3rd gen TL everytime I look around.

Same here, TL's are very common in this area of the country. A couple of weeks ago, we had 4 TL's back to back in the left lane on 295, all CBP, two reg TL's and two Type-S's - Completely unplanned, at least by me!

I usually don't do anything because I see about 30 a day around here and they are all stock. If I happen to see one with anything aftermarket done, I'll give them a nod if they look at me. I don't have to worry about show-offs though, everybody here drives like a grandma :thumbsdow

3Gs are seen so far and between where I live, instead of checking for mods, i simply give them a mental date and time stamp.

The handful of 3Gs TL I do see run like clockwork. Same ones over and over again around the same time a day, 90% driven by women 40 plus looking in age with zero mods. So being 29 and having only a full nose mask and tint, I am officially the youngest member with the heaviestly-modded TL in northern Louisiana. Haterz, hate on

I stare...lol. Back when I first bought my TL in 2005 it was much more common for other 3G TL drivers to stare back but now it just seems like like people are like whatever about 3G TLs.

 

If its stock, nothing.

If its modded, see if I can tell what username on here it belongs to

 

I do the same thing in NY, If they look stock, i would look and turn away and if the car is modded, i would stare until i would get their attention and see if they on Acurazine.
