Yes, I know... Search is your best friend . I have searched for the answer, but all I come up with in these threads that I found is " I'm pretty sure someone has done it, why don't you search" or " I'm not sure, I'm pretty sure theres a DIY, why don't you search?" and the problem is never resolved.

So my question is, how can I have my DRLs/Fogs turn on BY THEMSELVES, without turning on the low/high beams?? I have an 05, and from reading and searching, Acura designed the fogs on the 04-06 to turn on ONLY with the low/high beams and not independently. I want to have them on independently, because I am getting a set of custom headlights by JnC, with CCFL's and I am not sure what to wires the CCFL's to, so they can be noticable. in other words, I want to turn on my CCFL's without having to turn on my Low/High Beams.

Ok, so this is more about turning on the CCFL's independently, rather then having DRL's turned on independently. Who here has CCFL's? what did you wire them to? Do you have your own switch for them? do you have them wired to turn on with the parking lights? fogs?

I would prefer to have them turned on with my fogs ( I will only have one set of CCFL's, which will be located on the Low/high Beams) but it would be pointless since my fogs only turn on with Low/high beams, then in turn you won't notice CCFL's with your low beams on.

I know there is a unit you can buy that lets you do this, I dont think you can do it without it
